5 Gift Wines Courtesy The Winery
A bottle of wine makes a great gift for the holidays.  The Winery recommends these 5 palate-satisfying wines:Sokol Blosser Evolutionfrom Oregon
The wine is off-dry and floral with aromas and flavors of lime, lime blossom and nectarine. It’s a good companion to medium-spicy Asian food.  If you like wines that have a soft lush character with no hard edges or structure, this is the wine for you. The look of it has some mist, bright silver yellow. The aroma is slightly herbal and tropical.Louis Martini Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignonfrom California
This Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with intense aromas of ripe cherry, cedar and tobacco. Decadent flavors of ripe plums and dark Bing cherries are framed by subtle oak nuances, which impart notes of brown spice and vanilla to the blend. This is a balanced, well-structured wine with firm, velvety tannins. The long, elegant finish hints of tobacco, dried herbs and fruit on the palate.

Martini Moscato d’ Astifrom Italy
Sweet white wine with effervescence.  Fabulous as a starter or ender.

Rosenblum Desiree Chocolate Portfrom California
An exotic blend of Zinfandel along with two of Portugal’s classic grape varieties and an infusion of rich, opulent chocolate.  It’s dark ruby and purple  and the aroma is like creamy cherry chocolate pie. The taste is crazy – it’s a candy bar in a bottle with a hint of alcohol.

Apothic Redfrom California
A captivating blend of three distinct grapes with the dark fruit flavors of Syrah, brambly spice of Zinfandel and a smooth elegance of Merlot. Apothic Red reveals intense fruit aromas and flavors of rhubarb and black cherry that are complemented by hints of mocha, chocolate, brown spice and vanilla. A full-bodied red blend with a smooth finish.
