Marc began serving drinks from behind the bar the day after he turned 21. With 13 years of drink-slinging experience, he’s one bartender who knows how to mix things up.

Marc’s personal picks for drinks of the month:
Wine: Anything in a box.
Beer: PBR Pounder.
Shot: Air Force 1 – Hpnotiq, topped with 151 and dropped into a combo of Rockstar and Liquid Ice.
Specialty drink of the month: The Kinky Caterpillar

What’s your beverage of choice?
Milk Chocolate Muscle Milk.

Know any good jokes?
Did you hear about the peanut that got beat up in the bar? It was a salted! (Assaulted.)

Best raise-your-glass toast?
Anything to our troops.

Have any crazy bartender stories?
I was given a car for a tip once. I was without transportation for a bit and a regular of mine had just gotten his daughter a newer car for college. He heard my situation, and one day, after a few drinks, he slid the title and keys across the rail. It was definitely something I have never forgotten.

Life advice?
Your life is yours to change. No one else can fix it for you. Dwelling on the negative and sulking gets nothing accomplished. If you’re not happy with your situation, fix it instead of complaining about it. Leave the drama at the door. Smile. You never know when that smile you give might make a person’s day a little better.

What’s the best part about bartending?
The people. I get to have constant interaction with hundreds of people each day. Before I bartended, I was deathly afraid of speech classes or talking in a large group. Now, I can stand up in front of a room of people and talk for half an hour with no problems. It really develops people skills. I’ve gotten to meet and become friends with people I would never have met, if I worked somewhere else. These people have done me favors, held my new born child, gone golfing together … and that is something great.

What’s the worst part about bartending?
Late night party buses. Nothing good comes out of a party bus after midnight.

Top 5 jukebox picks?
Mother – Danzig
You can call me Al – Paul Simon
Don’t feel like Dancing – Scissor Sisters
Back in Black – AC/DC
Shake ya Tailfeather – Murphy Lee w. Nelly
